APEC Study Centers Consortium

The APEC Study Centers (ASC) represent important academic communities in their respective economies and are almost entirely composed of scholars. The ASC undertakes studies and research in APEC-related issues.

In 1993 a network of ASCs was established in universities and research institutions in APEC Member Economies. There are now ASCs in 19 Member Economies, comprising some 100 universities, research centers and centers of academic excellence across the APEC region. APEC Member Economies participate in the Annual ASC Consortium meetings and other research activities in their areas of interest.
