The APEC Secretariat

Based in Singapore, the APEC Secretariat (

The APEC Secretariat performs a project administration role assisting APEC Member Economies and APEC fora in overseeing more than 230 annual APEC-funded projects. APEC's annual budget is also administered by the APEC Secretariat. The Secretariat is staffed by seconded personnel from member economies working with local and international staff recruited by the Secretariat.
